The D3 represents Wilesco's smallest Esbit fuel-fired steam engine. The mirror-polished brass boiler measures 45mm diameter with 90mm length and 50cm³ capacity. Steel base plate and boiler housing are fabricated from printed sheet steel. Water level visibility utilizes integrated gauge glasses that also function as the sight glasses. Standard components include a spring-loaded safety valve, oscillating cylinder and piston assembly, 35mm diameter flywheel, and grooved pulley. Fuel and steam oil are sold separately.
